Login und Registrierung
You can find your six-digit username by clicking on your initials or profile picture in the top right corner.
The ID will be displayed in the window that opens—you will receive it automatically when you register and can use it as an alternative to your email address when logging in.
Go to the login area at
Forgot your password?.
Simply enter the email address you used to register.
You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password.
Please note: You will be redirected to an external site.
If you have forgotten your password and no email address is on file,
please contact your administrator.
You will then receive a new password that you can use the next time you log in.
After logging in, you will automatically be prompted to set a new password.
You can easily register here.
To do so, you will need:
- a valid email address
- your last name
- optionally your first name
- a secure password with at least:
- 6 characters
- 1 number
- 1 uppercase letter
- 1 lowercase letter
To log in, you need either:
- your email address or
- your six-digit username (uppercase letters only)
And, of course, your password.
You can find your username by clicking on your initials or profile picture in the top right-hand corner.
Your six-digit username will be displayed in the window that opens – you will receive this automatically when you register.

Mobile App
The mobile app is currently available on the following operating systems:
- Android: version 8.0 (Oreo) or higher
- iOS: version 16.6 or higher
Please ensure that your device is running this or a newer version to be able to use all the app's features.
If you were already logged in, you can use the eThemis app with limited functionality even without an internet connection.
For example, you can:
- View and edit tasks that have already been downloaded
- Access parts of the app
Important: Without an active internet connection, the following is not possible:
- Log in or switch users
- Perform NFC activations
- Transfer data to the server (e.g., completed tasks)
- Receive new tasks or changes
As soon as you are back online, all collected data will be synchronized automatically.
In the app, you can view tasks from the following periods:
- the last three days
- the current day
- the next three days
If a task has been assigned to you and is due, you can edit it directly in the app.
You can also view any defect texts left for tasks, if available.
The app is currently available in German, English, and Swedish.
Additional translations are already planned and will be added gradually in the future.
Once you are logged into the app, tap "Settings" in the bottom right corner.
In the middle of the screen, you will find the "Link NFC tags" function – select this option.
Then:
- Select the checkpoint you want to link.
- Hold your eThemis NFC tag against your mobile device.
- Your control point is now successfully linked.
Please note:
The position of the NFC sensor may vary depending on the manufacturer and model of your device.
If necessary, hold the tag in different places until the connection is recognized.
The eThemis app is required to assign NFC tags to your checkpoints.
Employees can use the app to complete tasks quickly and clearly and confirm them directly.
These functions are also available via the web version—however, the app was developed specifically for optimized use on mobile devices.
To scan our NFC tags, make sure your device supports NFC and that the feature is enabled.
The position of the NFC sensor may vary depending on the manufacturer, model, and software version.
Android
- Scanner position: Back – usually in the center or near the camera
iPhone
- Scanner position: Top of the back – near the camera
Tip:
Hold your device slowly against the NFC tag and move it slightly if the chip is not recognized immediately.
Unlike when logging in to the web version, you must log in here with your six-digit username.
The password is the same as for your web access to eThemis.de.

In the mobile version, you must first open the menu using the menu button at the top left.
